On Friday we went to eat SUSHI at centrepoint sushi! it was so good to eat sushi again. Like, omg. Haha after that proceeded to SNOG YUMMY i love snog i could have it everyday. Beats Frolick upside down left right center. Then reached home.. did laundry till about 1am, and then conference called with xiang serene and jas. LOL then after that skyped nick. Dang it we skyped from 3-5 watching stupid videos and talking nonsense, super funny. Wasn't doing work AT ALL. Zomg.. And the bus for Notts was leaving at 630, so at 4 we were like, "lets not sleep". Well, guess who slept at 5. haha wasn't me!
Was almost late for the bus to Nottingham, we ran all the way from halls to Strand.. and it started raining, POURING so we were all drenched. My hoodie, track pants, shoes, all wet. Was freezing.. thank god for nick's hoodie if not i GG. Then I KO-ed on the ride there. Hahah.
NOTTINGHAM GAMES! NOTTINGHAM is so nice. The university was so awesome, huge and lovely campus. Netball was so fun. Dang i miss it. I was sick and so out but the moment you step on court its different and you're like in the zone. Haha.. made friends with two of the KCL netball girls who are so pro. It was so fun, last time i played was Warwick games! Really sad i can't join KCL Netball cause its alllllll the way at canada waters, boo. On the way back we bought M&S soup at the stop.. so yummy. Then got back, went to Alyssa's room to have maggi mee and watch gossip girl! GUESS WHAT. we were supposed to continue watching dramas and i was like, let me rest awhile so i lay on her bed.. and i fell asleep.. until.. 1pm today. The entire night she didn't even wake me up to ask me to go back to my room! Instead she lay her mattress on the floor and slept on it. Her reasoning was, "let you sleep for the two days" hahha.
And today. I'm sick. Thanks to getting drenched. And not sleeping enough the entire week. |

| Birthday in London |

And I am happy :)
Aly and Edd came into my room at 11:59, they dragged me out on the pretense to go to China House for supper.. we walk along the gates of the park and BAM people are singing happy birthday. Most of the singaporeans came down to surprise me, and celebrate my birthday at 12mn. So many of them came down even from all the way down south, i was sooo touched :) and happy :) they lit candles spelling my name and it was the 5th time they did so when i arrived.. because the wind was so strong. But when i arrived they were all lit up, it was so pretty. Had cake.. and they got me a squash racket!! :) Plus Kelvin gave me macarons and truffles (AWESOME TRUFFLES) from Paris :D There was a huge birthday card as well and all. We talked and chatted and hung around for awhile and then went back.. Edd cooked my favourite maggi mee with ikan bilis and scallops (AHAHHHH) and we drank corona with lemon. Until about 2:30am, then i went on skype and skyped a few people.. then nick reached home and we skyped till 5:30 THEN we fell asleep. Looks like we didn't start on contract at all.
Today i had my favourite beef brisket hor fun at 1997 Chinatown for lunch :) They paid for my lunch and hp treated me to bubbble tea :D :D Went back to hp's place where they had to finish essays so me and nick talked rubbish and i proceeded to watch Star Trek. Halfway thru jonkong came and we started talking about everything and anything. Then i napped for 30mins before heading out for musical rehearsal. SAW ALEXA like finally and she gave me a cute cupcake which was so pretty and yummy too :) oh and xun jorin and jasamine baked mini muffins for me!! Sweet :D Musical rehearsals were hm tiring but nope no regrets.
Now i'm enjoying the last few minutes of my birthday. Thank God for the peope here who turned my at first forseen as sian birthday to something special in one way or another. Also to everyone who wished me, and who remembered from 6000miles away. Love.

That was from dom the day of my departure. Miss him so much.
Didn't wake up for church today- was supposed to wake nick up too cuz we both stayed up till 5am doing nonsense.. instead we both woke up at 2pm it was so bad. Today we went for a Hoisin Duck Wrap and checked out the 2nd hand books under the Waterloo bridge.. so happy we managed to find things we were looking for :) At good prices too! Awesome. But we froze.. like hands numb feet numb omg it was so bad the wind was so cold and constantly blowing at us. I will not act macho ever again. Its REALLY getting colder now. Then after dinner i played pp with Hyung and Daniel (fr S.Korea & Taiwan) and they are really good. Had fun playing with them!

Now am doing crim tutorial. Oh gosh, school starts tomorrow :( Occasionally skyping nick to discuss it and omg i have so much to read tonight. Gonna be another late night!

Nick uploaded selected Berlin photos to facebook. Gonna do photo exchange on Monday! Anyway the album is HILARIOUS. i couldn't stop laughing when coming across those funny photos. Must've looked like an idiot laughing by myself in front of the com. hahahaha then skyped with nick and continued laughing together. LOL DAMN FUNNY LAR. Plus the captions. Omg so awesome. And our trip. Was so awesome.
And i couldn't stop looking through the photos. I MISS BERLIN ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!! |

I am back from Berlin! :) The trip was awesome, Berlin is a city with so much history! There was so much to see and do, it was insane we didn't even finish everything we wanted to see. The food was so good and cheap, our hostel was good and it snowed on our last day there!! It was super cold though, like it was preparing us for winter in London! We drank hot coffee like twice a day. Bought back lots of Ritter Sport chocolate (YUM) which were super cheap!! And i love the public transport there they are SO smooth, back to the rocky tube rides now. It rained 3 out of our 5 days, which was crazy there wasn't even any glimpse of sun, but it was quite an apt atmosphere for our sightseeing, visiting the WWII and cold war memorials and such. And Berlin is still a lot like a communist country, the streets are soo wide and there is graffiti ALL over the place. Even on the tallest buildings at the side, and some of them are really nice. Lots of political cartoons as well. Will do a proper update with photos and all soon! Its crazy, nick took 1000 photos, hp took 600 and me 300. Wtg nick.
And.. yesterday i went over to Xiang's place, and guess what. We cooked chicken rice for lunch :)
It was so good. Yum. I hate not having a kitchen!!!! Then at night all the southsiders came over to Intl Hall, jf juli jon nick faisal xiang. Had so much fun, playing piano and pp.. eating Krispy Kremes and whoa me and xiang were practising our doubles. hahaha. And idk why my eye sort of got infected its so red and when i sleep i tear plus it looks so bad. gonna head out to get eyedrps soonnn.
TODAY is my first (and only) day of reading in this reading week. And only the afternoon. Dinner plans at night with nick jon juli jf etc! :) |
